An important aspect of ProCredit Bank’s mission has always been to connect people and organisations from different regions. This is exactly what was envisaged at the ProCredit Connect: Regional B2B Summit.
Hosted by ProCredit Bank Bosnia and Herzegovina in the capital city of Sarajevo, the event aimed to bring together businesses from South Eastern and Eastern Europe and Germany, giving them the opportunity to network, forge new partnerships and establish fruitful collaborations.
Networking and new market opportunities
ProCredit Connect presented the ideal platform for business clients of the ProCredit banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Germany, Moldova, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia and Ukraine to share experiences and business ideas, ultimately leading to potential new market opportunities for all parties present.
The summit was attended by more than 500 participants from 300 companies from the metal, food and agriculture/food industries active in the region and who together have a cumulative annual turnover of approximately EUR 3.5 billion and over 30,000 employees.
Empowering regional economic development
Regional cooperation is vital for continuous and sustainable economic development in South Eastern and Eastern Europe, and this is precisely what ProCredit Connect aimed to support.
Petar Ćorluka, owner of Violeta, a company in Bosnia and Herzegovina, commented on the importance of regional cooperation:
ProCredit Connect has provided entrepreneurs with a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and expand their network of business partners...
... "This is how we can begin working together to strengthen the regional economy. Violeta is an example of how regional integration is vital for growth and competitiveness in a broader market. This has been a long-standing principle of our business and a key factor in our success. Events like these bring us closer to our goals and strengthen our positions in the regional market. Such events are important not only for increasing exports but also for investing in new technologies that will enhance business processes and product quality,” said Ćorluka.
During the summit, more than 700 B2B meetings were held. Many of these exchanges are bound to lead to new business opportunities as well as enhanced regional collaboration in the future.
By organising this summit, ProCredit Bank Bosnia and Herzegovina has set a new standard for business networking and cross-border cooperation.
