ProCredit Bank in Germany is part of the ProCredit group, which is the main bank for small and medium-sized enterprises and private clients in eleven countries in South Eastern and Eastern Europe.

In Germany, we focus on SMEs with business relationships in these markets. We also provide long-term loans for sustainable entrepreneurial investments in South Eastern and Eastern Europe in cooperation with the local teams of the respective ProCredit banks. As the group's correspondent bank, we manage Group Treasury, foreign payments and trade finance. With our activities, we want to make an active contribution to ecologically and socially sustainable economic development in the region.

Credit Specialist in business lending (Back-Office Credit)

Your tasks in our Operations Department - Back Office Credit:

  • Processing credit decisions and loan approvals
  • Reviewing loan documents and disbursement requirements
  • Preparing loan and collateral agreements in close coordination with our legal department
  • Recording loans and loan collateral in the bank's systems
  • Managing loan exposures on an ongoing basis (including disbursement, partial/full repayment)
  • Monitoring compliance with covenants and repayment plans
  • Maintaining credit files
  • Preparing account statements and annual financial statements
  • Providing data for reporting and for internal and external audits
  • Working closely with the Business Client Support and Credit Risk Management departments as well as with the other ProCredit banks
  • Supporting the optimisation of processes and collaborating on projects

Your profile

  • Successfully completed banker training and/or studies in the field of economics, business administration or business law
  • Professional experience in loan and collateral processing in business client lending or private customer business as a credit specialist
  • First professional experience in loan and collateral processing and/or interest in banking are possible for the position of Junior Credit Specialist
  • Affinity for modern information technology
  • Good to very good knowledge of German and English Other foreign languages such as Serbian, Georgian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Greek or Macedonian are an advantage
  • Banking-specific knowledge of contract and collateral law, including the relevant legal regulations, is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the club deals or syndicated investments is an advantage
