ProCredit Bank in Germany is part of the ProCredit group, which is the main bank for small and medium-sized enterprises and private clients in eleven countries in South Eastern and Eastern Europe.
In Germany, we focus on SMEs with business relations to these markets. We also provide long-term loans for sustainable entrepreneurial investments in South Eastern and Eastern Europe in cooperation with the local teams of the respective ProCredit banks. As the group's correspondent bank, we manage Group Treasury, foreign payments and trade finance. With our activities, we aim to make an active contribution to ecologically and socially sustainable economic development in the region.
To strengthen our teams, we are looking for a dedicated employee for a permanent position as soon as possible.
Fully qualified lawyer/legal counsel (m/f/d)for banking law and credit law (full-time or part-time)
Your tasks:
- Preparing and reviewing company loan agreements, including project financing in renewable energies and trade finance
- Examining credit exposures and collateral with regard to legal risks
- Providing legal advice to the Management Board and specialised departments in all areas of banking, credit, payment, supervisory and corporate law, including the introduction of new products
- Drafting and updating standard contracts and managing legal documentation
- Coordinating the collaboration between the international legal departments of the ProCredit group and external legal advisers
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations within the bank
Your profile
- First and Second State Examination in Law (erstes und zweites juristisches Staatsexamen) (at least “satisfactory” on both exams)
- Able to perform duties in a precise legal manner, combined with a strong sense of economic correlations
- Some relevant professional experience in the task area is an advantage
- Willingness to engage with new topics
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Teamwork and adaptability
- Knowledge of a foreign language that can be used in the ProCredit group, such as Bulgarian, Georgian, Macedonian, Romanian, Serbian, Greek or Ukrainian, is an advantage
