How long have you been working at ProCredit Bank? How did you get started? Which career path did you take?
I have been working for ProCredit Bank since 2013. I studied finance and economics in Ukraine and my passion for numbers, clarity and analytics led me to the banking industry right after my studies. However, I didn’t want to work for the big conventional banks and only be a very small part of the overall picture – without any real chance to make a difference.
What has been your most exciting experience at ProCredit Bank so far?
The most exciting experience for me so far was attending the ProCredit Management Academy in the Odenwald in southern Hesse, which I graduated from in 2022. The classes were a mix of colleagues from all the countries in which the ProCredit group operates. It definitely broadened my horizons, made me even more curious, and perfected my soft skills.
ProCredit Bank offers all its clients simple and understandable financial services and transparent conditions.
What is the most important tool or skill in your job?
The ability to formulate and express my opinion clearly, but at the same time listen to others. To be open to different points of view.
Where did you learn that?
I believe that I’ve benefited a lot from my experiences at the ProCredit Academy in this respect – especially coming into contact with a very diverse group of colleagues from different cultural and professional backgrounds and carrying out joint projects and discussions with them.
Why should companies seek out ProCredit Bank?
Because ProCredit Bank offers all its clients simple and understandable financial services and transparent conditions, and also treats them fairly and with respect.
The focus of foreign business is on South Eastern and Eastern Europe. What does that mean for you?
This means a lot to me as I’m from Ukraine and started my career at ProCredit Bank in Ukraine. Many of the companies we have financed through PCB Ukraine have grown together with the bank and have contributed enormously to the country’s prosperity through taxes and jobs
What do you particularly appreciate in direct comparison here in Germany?
Clarity of processes, compliance with rules and standards, but also an openness to change.
